I've only just heard about Steve's death today. He has played a huge role in happy memories of going to Lords with mum. We always looked forward to his sense of humour and conversation when we were in the disabled section. Mum is too ill to go to Lords now but we will always cherish the shared laughter.

I'm very saddened, and sorry, to hear of Stephen's passing. I started working at Lords when I was quite young, shy, and speaking to much older people seemed daunting. Stephen was always very friendly, always approachable, and he had such a calming soothing presence to him - and he was funny, with a great sense of humour! One of the few great characters you're lucky enough to meet in your lifetime - I'm honoured to have known him.

Thank you for setting up this memorial to Stephen.
We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
